Even though they’re relatively large and widespread, raptors can be challenging to identify on the wing. Tom Johnson shares his favorite ways for simplifying raptor identification in the migration hotspot of Cape May, New Jersey. Using the benefits of 1/8 speed slow-motion video, this episode focuses on the flight identification of 16 species of raptors that occur regularly in Cape May.
